Dhouglas Carvalho is an art director and product marketing manager known for his ability to design brand identities and experiences that resonate with niche and large audiences. As an athlete and thrill-seeker, he uses his time in high-risk environments to capture landscape and adventure photographs.
Born in Brazil, Dhouglas grew up in the countryside of the State of Rio de Janeiro, in a city called Trajano de Morais. Later, he moved to Rio de Janeiro, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Publicity, going through extensive training in Art Direction, Photography, Graphic Design, Public Relations, and Marketing.
Growing up in the countryside in the middle of farms, forests, and mountains, he developed a taste for outdoor sports and thrill-seeking. He has become an advocate to connect people to experiences in nature. Still a child of the wilderness, he is always scouting the map for exotic places to connect with nature and capture breathtaking imagery.
A strong preference for natural light, he prefers photography in outdoor spaces, experimenting with textures, color blurs, and natural elements to create an organic narrative in every picture.
Dhouglas resides in New York City and splits his time between his 9-5 devising user experience for a global financial institution, and his weekend adventure expeditions.
